Molly Jensen is a tenacious young 25 year old law school graduate who is stubborn to a fault, with a “never say die” attitude and a pair of killer legs that get her endless forgiveness on her war path, unlike her college roommate and best friend Janine Carmine who believes in a practical path to career ascent that starts at entry level and progresses over several solid years of taking orders.

Upon graduation from law school Molly’s well endowed grand parents give her a large sum of money to kick start her endeavors, in hopes that she will buy a home or open her own metropolitan practice. Molly spends her last few weeks on campus debating what she will do with her inheritance fund. While waiting in an off-campus tavern for Janine one Friday night, Molly overhears five guys watching a Book of Mormon commercial. They spatter the room with loud rants about how great it would be to move to Utah and marry a dozen wives and have them wait on them hand over fist. Polygamy landed on Molly’s doorstep in odd fashion. She was so irritated at their typical male attitudes that the women’s lib in her started to work overtime. She had her master plan. She would move to Utah, build a ranch, comb the local Mormon church for marriage material and marry the first twelve men who she came across and they would do all of her work around the property.

Each of these twelve husbands would turn out to have unique stories themselves. After moving to Utah and making good on her plans and promises Molly finds herself at odds with the local Mormon church, local residents, the local newspaper and eventually the law. Molly won’t give up the fight, that is until she meets Nick Stallworth, a 30 year old building inspector who is assigned to oversee Molly’s ranch building process. Molly finds herself in love for the first time and willing to make amends with her self created adversaries, Annul her illegal marriages, sell her ranch and move in to a home closer to town where she starts a practice serving less fortunate clients who cannot afford representation.
